Were looking for dynamic, compassionate, and highly organised individuals to be the first point of contact for patients, families, and clinical staff at our Minor Injury Unit (MIU) in Chippenham. As the heartbeat of our front desk, you'll be essential to creating a warm, welcoming, & efficient experience for all who walk through our doors. The MIU is open for walk-in patients and for patients who have contacted NHS 111 and have been advised to attend. In addition, the Reception Team provides comprehensive front-of-house support to patients, visitors, and staff across the hospital, maintaining high standards of customer care and contributing to the smooth and effective running of services.
Main duties of the job
* Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and care.
* Manage appointments, phone calls, and patient inquiries.
* Coordinate with clinical staff and departments to ensure smooth operations.
* Handle patient records and maintain confidentiality.
* Keep the reception area calm, clean, and under control even on the busiest days.
