We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Apprentice Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
* Assist in food preparation and cooking processes, adhering to established recipes and standards
* Support senior chefs with food presentation and plating techniques
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
* Learn and implement proper food safety and hygiene practices at all times
* Help manage stock levels, organise ingredients, and assist with inventory checks
* Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge
* Support the supervision of junior staff or trainees when required
* Contribute to creating a positive, efficient, and collaborative kitchen environment
Experience
* Enthusiasm for learning is key
* Basic knowledge of food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
* Familiarity with kitchen safety standards and food hygiene regulations
* Exposure to food service roles such as serving or assisting front-of-house staff is beneficial
* Demonstrated interest in culinary arts through previous work/ School or personal projects
