Group Marketing Manager – UK & Ireland
Location: Newcastle Head Office – Monday – Friday - Full Time. Reporting To: Senior Leadership Team
Northland Properties Ltd. is seeking an experienced marketing leader to drive the strategic direction and execution of marketing initiatives across its UK & Ireland portfolio. The role supports senior leadership and operational teams, focusing on brand management, digital presence, campaign development, and stakeholder engagement.
Job Purpose
The Group Marketing Manager will provide strategic leadership, develop and execute marketing activities, and ensure alignment with corporate brand standards. Responsibilities include overseeing brand management, digital strategy, campaign performance, budget stewardship, and collaboration with external agencies and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the UK & Ireland Marketing function and report on brand performance and campaign outcomes to senior leadership.
* Develop, implement and monitor long‑ and short‑term marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Establish and track key performance indicators to measure marketing effectiveness.
* Approve all marketing collateral and communications materials.
* Integrate digital, social and traditional marketing channels.
* Oversee website performance, digital marketing initiatives and enforce UK & Ireland social media guidelines.
* Manage content development, including copywriting, press releases, internal communications and media relations.
* Develop and manage the annual marketing budget and monitor marketing spend.
* Analyze campaign performance and marketing data to inform strategy and monthly reporting.
* Manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers.
* Collaborate with Canadian marketing, digital and content teams.
* Provide marketing support to operational teams across all UK & Ireland properties, including crisis and reputation management.

Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Communications or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Demonstrated experience in a marketing leadership role.
* Experience within the hospitality sector preferred.
* Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management and campaign delivery.
* Experience with marketing analytics and reporting tools.
* Experience in copywriting and content development.
* Website management experience.
Additional Requirements
* Ability to travel across UK & Ireland as required.
* Experience managing budgets and external agencies.
* Familiarity with brand governance and compliance processes.
