Job Function:
As a Technology Solutions Specialist, you will work alongside our team to gain hands-on experience across our outlets and on farms across our area of responsibility. Our team delivers sales, installation, support, expertise and training for industry-leading technology solutions from our partners including John Deere, Solsteer and Kuhn Farm Machinery. You will be working with cutting-edge tools such as machine telematics, machine automation, agronomic data platforms and GPS guidance installed on a wide range of agricultural and turf machinery in an industry that evolves rapidly, no two days are the same.

Essential Duties:
* Drive sales growth by actively prospecting using our CRM tools, developing a deep understanding of our customers operations and delivering tailored solutions that help improve our customers efficiency and performance.
* Install, setup and optimise technology products and services.
* Learn to operate and demonstrate the latest John Deere equipment and Precision Technology.
* Assist customers and employees with Precision Technology troubleshooting on farm and remotely using our dedicated support app & technology support line.
* Responsible for overseeing operation centre accounts and connected machine registration processes.
* Deliver on our dealership’s Technology Solutions Strategy.
* Execute the plan to ensure ongoing Precision Technology mainstreaming across all departments at the dealership.
* Serve as the internal and external technical specialist for precision farming & turf products.
* Implement the adoption of modern technology and product offerings.
* Assist our sales team with all aspects of our technology offering.
* Develop and deliver employee and customer training for John Deere Precision Technology Solutions and advanced precision farming & turf products.
* Provide solutions-based services to customers.
* Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
What we are looking for:
Willingness and enthusiasm to learn is essential, as well as an interest in Agriculture and Technology. Some hands-on mechanical and electrical experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given. Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications would also be an advantage but not essential. Enjoy building long lasting relationships with customers and employees. Ability to operate with a solutions approach and identify existing/emerging customer needs. Works well in a demanding environment with flexible/non-standard work hours based on the seasonal demand of Agriculture. Works well independently as well as part of a team. Resourceful in finding solutions. Solid organisational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills. Valid Driver’s License will also be essential.
Working Hours:
- Standard working week – Monday to Friday 8-5 + Weekends when needed. (Rota based in the busy time of year)
- Expected to work extra hours in the busy periods.
- We would ask you to be flexible when it comes to answering support tickets and calls using our support app & hotline system.
Training:
- Full training will be given both through a bespoke Sherriff Technology learning path and manufacturer training.
