You are already operating as a Team Leader, Shift Leader or Supervisor within a manufacturing environment and you take that responsibility seriously.
You understand that production is not just about hitting numbers. It is about safety, quality, delivery and cost all working together. You lead from the front. You are visible on the shop floor. You set the tone for standards, behaviour and accountability.
You are confident having the difficult conversations when needed, though you are equally comfortable coaching and developing people. You want to be part of a business where continuous improvement is not just talk, it is expected.

Your experience
You have previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment.
You understand production processes and key performance metrics such as OEE, scrap, efficiency and downtime.
You are confident managing attendance, conducting return to work interviews and handling conduct matters in line with company policy.
You have a strong working knowledge of Health and Safety and Quality Management systems. Experience with ISO 9001 or BRCGS would be beneficial.
You are comfortable using Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience would be an advantage, along with First Aid or Fire Marshal training.
You are flexible and able to cover alternative shift patterns when required.
What you will be doing with your experience in this role
You will lead, motivate and develop a team of production operators across manufacturing areas including extrusion, lamination, print, conversion, warehousing and engineering.
You will take responsibility for the safe and efficient running of the manufacturing area on shift, ensuring output and quality targets are consistently met.
You will monitor key shift metrics such as output, OEE, downtime and scrap, taking corrective action where required and reporting performance clearly to the Manufacturing Manager.
You will champion Health and Safety, ensuring compliance, correct PPE usage and strong hazard reporting. You will set the standard by your own behaviour on the shop floor.
You will promote adherence to quality standards and GMP expectations, identifying non conformances and working closely with QA and Engineering to resolve issues.
You will hold daily team briefings, communicate KPIs and company priorities clearly, and ensure robust handovers between shifts.
You will support continuous improvement initiatives and 5S standards, encouraging your team to get involved in problem solving and waste reduction.
