Mechanical Design Engineer – Enclosures - Key Responsibilities:
* Develop engineering drawings to relevant standards.
* Design electronic enclosures for their products, including EMC and Thermals.
* Design jigs and fixtures.
* Source component parts from external suppliers and in-house machining facilities.
* Oversee the assembly of prototype designs.
* Provide support and create design drawings for existing product lines.
* Manage and control modifications to engineering and production design drawings.
Mechanical Design Engineer – Enclosures - Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proficiency in mechanical design software, ideally Autodesk INVENTOR Professional and AutoCAD Mechanical. Although any mainstream 3D CAD SW experience would be fine.
2. Experience in designing enclosures for electronic products, with experience in EMC and Thermal design concepts.
