What will you be doing?
As a Finance Assistant, your duties and responsibilities will be (but not limited to):
* To work in a team of Finance Assistants and Officers delivering NOCN Group’s accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for the Group.
* Raise and issue sales invoices, credit notes and statements to customers, promptly and accurately.
* Maintain accurate up to date customer account details.
* Assist with the credit control function of the Group.
* Process purchase invoices promptly and accurately, ensuring that Sage is in line with the data processed on Concur.
* Manage the mailboxes of the finance department ensuring that emails are processed quickly and accurately to meet the service level standards.
* Work with other members of the Group Finance team with projects and tasks when required Collaborate and support the rest of the team to achieve a reliable and professional financial service to NOCN.

About you...
The successful candidate will need to meet the following 'must have' criteria:
* Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy.
* Educated to Level 3 (e.g. at least 2 A Levels).
* Level 2 Qualification in Mathematics (e.g. at least Grade C in GCSE Maths).
* Level 2 or higher AAT or other finance/accounting qualification (or willing to work towards).
* 1+ years’ working in an accounts receivable, credit control, accounts payable or general finance function in a commercial environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills including good grammar, punctuation and spelling.
* Good general IT skills including the ability to proficiently use the Microsoft Office suite.
* Precise and exact attention to detail.
