This post presents an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Education, Skills and Community Wellbeing Directorate as maternity cover for the current post holder
Within this role you will play a vital role in the strategic planning and operational delivery of key areas of Health and Wellbeing across the directorate.
You will provide leadership and direction to schools to keep abreast of national policy developments within Health and Wellbeing, specifically those which affect schools.
This role involves working directly and in partnership with schools and internal and external key stakeholders to facilitate the smooth operational delivery of key health and wellbeing projects to meeting Council objectives.
Applicants must be educated to SCQF Level 8 or equivalent in a relevant field and be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Educational Policy Frameworks and Council Policies.
You must have experience in managing people and change with strong project management skills and be able to develop strong working relationships with staff at all levels. You should be comfortable liaising with senior management and acting in a representational role for the directorate.
A current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post. However, if you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged.
This is a Fixed Term post for a period of up to 1 year to cover a maternity leave.
This post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post on a secondment basis.
