About the Role
We are looking to recruit an experienced Engineer who has experience working with permanent traffic signals in the UK. The role will report into a Operations manager and will share responsibilities with other colleagues, working in a small team as part of a wider, UK wide, team structure.
The postholder will be working primarily with our ‘Urban64 product, which is fundamentally similar in nature to permanent signals, but installed temporarily, throughout the UK.
Key Accountabilities
Travel to sites across the UK to carry out inspections, surveys, SATs, validations, and meetings with customers. Overnight stays likely.
Technical support, including remotely diagnosing faults, inspecting radars, controllers and other equipment.
Site Acceptance Testing.
Updating Microsoft Teams documents.
Liaising with customers. Communicating with customers.
Key Skills
Essential:
Understanding of traffic signal design fundamentals and UK standards
Familiarity with signal layout drawings
Experience with UTC
Experience of Site Acceptance Testing
MCH / TR2500 specification reading and understanding
Repairs and maintenance of traffic signal equipment
Fault finding and diagnostics
Desirable:
MOVA experience
Controller configuration experience
