Social Impact Executive
From £34,983, £1,100 flex allowance, up to 15% discretionary bonus + benefits
This role takes an office first hybrid approach here at London Gatwick, with three days a week in the office, two days remote, managed around the needs of the business.
What is the role?
Responsible for supporting London Gatwicks social impact team and programme, including day to day management of community investment programme, including external Community Funds, Charity Partnerships, Employee volunteering and support for the Education Programme.
Working closely with the Social Impact Lead and other managers to ensure that activity is prioritised and aligned to the overall team and functional plan.
What will you do?
* Day to day management of the community investment programme, including meetings; events; project delivery; financial processing and monitoring and measurement.
* Working closely with the Community and Economic Partnerships Manager for direction and to ensure alignment with wider plans and with the communications team to share information and schedule stories.
* Engage with colleagues across the business to drive forward initiatives such as the volunteering programme.
* Support Social Impact Lead to deliver regular and comprehensive data collection and reporting (working with Community and Economic Partnerships Manager and other managers as required) ensuring alignment with Decade of Change measures and relevant KPIs.
* Working with the wider Social Impact team to provide administrative support for key engagement activities, events and tours, and occasional support to other teams within Corporate Affairs as required.

* Experience desirable in business engagement in a corporate setting with Social Impact responsibilities.
* Passionate about the value of business engagement and investment in communities and broader social impact.
* Educated to degree level desirable.
* Excellent English oral and written communication skills are essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Good numeracy skills and comfortable collecting and analysing data for reporting purposes.
* Strong organisational and project management skills – ensuring effective processes are in place, tracked and updated.
* Strong attention to detail and good knowledge of IT tools.
