About the role
As the Senior Security Governance Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and strengthening Reckitt's global security governance, assurance, and risk management framework across a diverse international footprint.
Reporting to the Head of Security Operations, this new role is responsible for developing and implementing enterprise-wide security governance processes, assurance mechanisms, and risk management frameworks that support safe, secure, and resilient business operations across Reckitt's global operations.
The position plays a key role in driving security maturity, improving control effectiveness, and embedding consistent governance standards across manufacturing, R&D, commercial, and corporate environments. You will work closely with regional security teams and cross‑functional stakeholders to support compliance, strengthen assurance capabilities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives globally.
Your responsibilities
* Security Governance & Assurance Frameworks. Lead the development and continuous improvement of Reckitt’s global security governance, assurance, and compliance frameworks, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk management and business objectives.
* Security Risk Management & Control Effectiveness. Support the integration of security risk management processes into global operations, conducting security assessments, assurance reviews, and control effectiveness activities across multiple sites and regions.
* Policy, Standards & Regulatory Compliance. Develop and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, and governance mechanisms that support consistent implementation of security requirements across Reckitt’s global footprint.
* Governance Reporting & Strategic Insights. Establish reporting frameworks, dashboards, KPIs, and maturity metrics to provide strategic insight into Reckitt’s global security risk posture, programme effectiveness, and compliance performance.
* Global Security Programmes & Continuous Improvement. Support key global security initiatives and transformation programmes, driving standardisation, operational improvement, and the ongoing enhancement of security governance capabilities.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Cross‑Functional Collaboration. Partner with regional security teams and key stakeholders across Facilities, H&S, Supply Chain, Procurement, and business leadership to strengthen governance adoption, improve resilience, and support strategic priorities.
The experience we're looking for
* Significant experience in corporate security, security governance, assurance, risk management within a global organisation.
* Demonstrated experience designing and implementing governance, assurance, or compliance frameworks across multinational environments.
* Qualifications in security risk management, control assurance, regulatory compliance, and operational governance principles.
* Experience conducting security assessments, audits, assurance reviews, or maturity evaluations across multiple sites or business functions.
* Experience influencing senior stakeholders and collaborating effectively across complex, matrixed organisations.
* Experience supporting global transformation programmes, governance initiatives, or operational improvement activities desirable.
* Relevant professional qualifications or equivalent experience in security, risk, compliance, or related disciplines preferred.
