Overview
We are excited to be on the lookout for a part time New Homes Sales Officer (Fixed-term for 6 months) to join the SPACE Homes Team. You'll be the face of our St John's Park site, a new development in Beverley. It is an exciting time to join the SPACE Homes Team as we continue to support Yorkshire Housing who own and manage more than 20,000 homes and counting. This is a part time role (21 hours) and you'll be on-site from Friday through to Sunday each week, working 7 hours each day. You may occasionally be required to cover other sites so a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is required.
What will you be doing?
The New Homes Sales Officer will be the face of SPACE HOMES at our exclusive development site. You will provide customer excellence in dealing with sales queries and guiding our customers through their sales journey. You will use your knowledge, negotiation and influencing skills in achieving targets. You will ensure show homes look their best and ensure relevant information is collected and support the Field Sales Manager in achieving the team\'s business aims. St John\'s is a collection of 3 & 4 bedroom shared ownership homes. You will guide prospective and existing buyers through the sales process with regular communication and support from our Space Homes marketing team who will work with you to generate footfall and enquiries. You will be responsible for promptly responding to all leads generated and be motivated to achieve your developments sales rates; closing sales at the earliest opportunity and delivering a great customer experience for the buyer. You will be actively involved with all external parties to achieve legal completion and take responsibility in ensuring your developments properties are ready and to Space Homes standards at handover ensuring that the highest levels of customer satisfaction are delivered.
Responsibilities
* Respond to leads promptly and work to achieve development sales targets while delivering excellent customer experience.
* Maintain show homes to SPACE HOMES standards and coordinate with marketing for footfall and enquiries.
* Provide clear, timely communications to customers and internal teams.
* Build relationships with customers and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate with the Field Sales Manager and other teams to support sales targets.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Excellent written communication skills, particularly for a sales audience.
* Track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
* Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset.
* Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office/Outlook.
* Initiative and a can-do attitude.
* Passion and enthusiasm for sales and digital marketing.
* Experience of working in residential New Homes sales and negotiating to close sales (desirable).
* Experience of promoting and marketing properties through various channels and, ideally, running a sales site/show home and selling different property types (desirable).
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use (required).
Salary and Benefits
* Salary: £20,983 per annum (21 hours over 3 days per week – Friday, Saturday & Sunday).
* 26 days annual leave (pro-rated) + Bank Holidays.
* Fixed Term Contract – 6 months.
