This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking to transition from hospital into community complex care, with full training, support, and shadowing provided alongside experienced Clinical Leads. The role involves supporting complex care packages nationally within clients' homes and community settings. Candidates must be comfortable travelling and working flexibly, as nights and weekends may be required depending on package needs.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Trainee Complex Care Nurse with Coyle Homecare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to service users. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:
* Supporting the delivery of high-quality complex care within community settings
* Working alongside Clinical Leads to develop community complex care skills
* Completing shadow shifts and competency-based training within live care packages
* Supporting clients with a range of clinical needs within their homes, including tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, suctioning, oxygen therapy, and airway management
* Supporting carers and wider care teams within packages
* Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and communication
* Travelling nationally to support various care packages as required
Role Requirements:
To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
* Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMC pin
* Community experience OR a minimum of 5 years' hospital experience within PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit) and/or ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
* Strong clinical foundation and willingness to learn community complex care
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
* Flexible approach to working patterns, including nights and weekends where required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
