This is an exciting time to join us. We're looking for a dynamic, forward‑thinking leader to take on the pivotal role of Head of Service for Safeguarding. If you're energized by change, motivated by impact, and passionate about protecting the rights and wellbeing of vulnerable adults, we want to hear from you.
You will lead the strategic and operational delivery of adult safeguarding services, ensuring compliance with statutory duties under the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Human Rights Act 1998. You will also play a key role in shaping multi‑agency partnerships and embedding a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications and experience
* Proven safeguarding expertise – you understand the complexity and know how to lead through it
* Professional credibility – you are a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England
* Leadership that delivers – you have led complex services and driven meaningful change
* Strategic insight – you know the legislation and how to apply it in practice
* Collaborative strength – you build strong partnerships and communicate with impact
* Values driven approach – you champion human rights and ensure the voice of the person is central to everything you do
