Job Description
Finance & Bookkeeping (Core focus)
3. Processing purchase and sales invoices
4. Bank reconciliations
5. Invoice discounting reconciliations
6. VAT returns (quarterly)
7. Maintaining accurate financial records
8. Supporting monthly financial reporting
9. Monitoring income, expenditure, and basic cashflow
10. Liaising with external accountants
Administration
11. Maintaining organised digital filing systems
12. Preparing documents, spreadsheets, and reports
13. Supporting general office administration and correspondence
Operations & Coordination
14. Liaising with manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners
15. Supporting order tracking and documentation
16. Maintaining product and supplier records
Regulatory Support
17. Organising compliance and registration documentation
18. Assisting with admin support for external regulatory consultants
The Successful Applicant
Essential
19. Bookkeeping experience (AAT or equivalent preferred)
20. Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
21. Strong attention to detail and organisation
22. Able to work independently and take responsibility
23. Comfortable in a small business environment
Desirable
24. Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
25. Previous role in a small or owner-managed business
26. Exposure to logistics, manufacturing, or regulated industries
