Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join a dynamic academy in Brent, North West London. This permanent, full-time position starts in September and involves teaching Geography to Key Stage 3 and Religious Education to Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will inspire curiosity about the world and foster respectful dialogue about diverse beliefs.
Responsibilities
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons to KS3 students.
2. Plan, prepare, and deliver Religious Education lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
3. Create stimulating learning environments that encourage geographical inquiry and respectful discussions about beliefs.
4. Assess student progress and provide feedback to support learning in both subjects.
Requirements
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Experience teaching Geography and Religious Education at the secondary level.
3. Strong knowledge of geographical concepts relevant to KS3 and religious beliefs and ethical frameworks for KS3-4.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and engage young learners.
