Job title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Sheffield - onsite
Salary: £41,308+ depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Responsible for the maintenance of a wide range of production machines & equipment across our UK sites covering both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks
* Carry out basic diagnostics to identify faults and support trouble shooting
* Assist in repair activities following technical documentation and safety procedures
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, inspections and repairs
* Ensure all work complies with relevant safety, quality and operational standards
* Keep up to date with relevant regulations and legislation
* Report unresolved issues to technical specialists
* Assist in fault-finding and component replacement using technical manuals
Your skills and experiences:
* Relevant Engineering background with recognised qualification in mechanical, electrical or systems engineering (e.g. HNC)
* Ability to follow technical documentation and standard operating procedures
* Awareness of current legislative equipment requirements - PUWER, ATEX, LOLER, etc
* Understanding / experience of fault finding / fix on CNC machines
* Experience of “Lock out and Tag out” of machines
* Attention to detail and commitment to safety
