Assistant Finance Business Partner Job
This business is a global manufacturing business with a solid, experienced Finance Team and they're looking to recruit an Assistant Finance Business Partner who is degree qualified. This is a development opportunity for a motivated Accounts Assistant, who is degree qualified, to join a highly successful and growing UK manufacturing business.
Working closely with an experienced Head of Finance, as an Assistant Finance Business Partner youll gain hands-on experience across all areas of the finance function, from management accounting and financial analysis to stakeholder engagement and commercial decision-making.
Youll be part of a team that genuinely values development. As well as full support towards your professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA), youll gain exposure to how a high-performing finance function operates day to day, and see first-hand how finance adds value across operations, production and leadership teams. The experience and high quality finance team will provide ongoing mentorship and development.
The duties of your role will involve delivering insightful weekly Profit and Loss forecasts, support operational staff in decision-making by interpreting their data, and drive performance improvements across the business. Youll play a key role in month-end reporting, Board and Senior Leadership presentations, and contribute to finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will work in the office 2 days a week (more if preferred) but will have the flexibility to work your hours around your personal commitments, with up to 3 days a week at home.
About You
You will ideally have some finance experience, and be degree qualified within Finance. Your experience can be transactional (AP/AR) but you must have an aptitude to progress and get more involved into the finance function.
This role will be working closely with the wider business to improve performance and efficiency by manipulating and analysing data, so you must have a natural flair for analysis, with the ability to interpret and communicate data effectively
A proactive learner with strong attention to detail and the desire to grow within a dynamic environment.
The aptitude to complete your CIMA / ACCA.
