Service Coordinator
Location: REACT TEAM, Constantine House 5 Constantine Rd, Ipswich, Suffolk IP1 2DG, with travel around the area.
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract 1st October 2025 to 13th September 2026
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £23,745 per annum
Driving: Full UK Driving Licence required and access to a vehicle. Mileage expenses paid

British Red Cross REACT staff are part of a multidisciplinary team of social workers, nurses, occupational therapists, mental health professionals, clinicians and other voluntary sector organisations who work in partnership within the community to prevent to hospital admissions.

A day in the life of a Service Coordinator: You will manage a small team of staff and volunteers ensuring the people who need us receive the best possible service.
You will meet with our service users and assess their needs, guiding or signposting them to connect with groups within the community or to manage a health condition, enabling them to lead independent lives and improve their wellbeing.
Line management of staff.
You will liaise with partnership agencies and stakeholders to promote the service and build meaningful relationships.
You will produce and maintain monthly reports.
To be a successful Service Coordinator: Strong leadership skills and an ability to get the best out of people?
Knowledge of staff line management.
Good communicator?
Knowledge of Health and Social Care services?
Manual UK driving licence, held for minimum of two years, and access to a vehicle? (mileage will be paid for use of own vehicle).
