We are currently seeking a Registered Manager to join a team in Northampton offering a new comprehensive residential service for young people with learning disabilities and associated challenging behaviour aged between 8-18.
About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and compliance of the home. You will ensure the highest standards of care, support, and safeguarding while creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for the young people we support.
Key Responsibilities Manage referrals, maintain full occupancy, and oversee effective admission processes.
Lead and motivate a team of care professionals, providing supervision, coaching, and development.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards (Childrens Homes Regulations 2015, Children Act 1989, etc.).
Oversee risk assessments, care planning, and high-quality support services.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-maintained home environment.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, local authorities, and commissioners.
Support recruitment, staff management, rotas, and performance monitoring.
Promote participation and inclusion for children and young people in home life and decision-making.
What are we Looking For Proven experience managing an Ofsted registered childrens residential home.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young Peoples Services (or working toward it).
Deep understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and regulatory requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
