The Role: New Business Sales Executive

We’re seeking an ambitious and driven New Business Sales Executive to help expand NETbuilder’s footprint across enterprise clients. You’ll play a key role in selling high-value IT consulting and transformation services—including observability, cybersecurity, cloud, and managed services.


In this role, you will:

* Identify and qualify new business opportunities across observability, security, managed services, and cloud.
* Build strong relationships with enterprise decision-makers
* Collaborate with technical and consulting teams to create value-led solution proposals.
* Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and close.
* Drive outbound prospecting through email, phone, LinkedIn, and events.
* Maintain accurate forecasts and keep CRM (HubSpot) data clean and up to date.
* Represent NETbuilder at industry events, conferences, and networking activities.


What You Bring

* 2–5 years of experience in IT sales, BDR/SDR roles, or similar—ideally within consulting or enterprise technology.
* Proven track record of hitting or exceeding new business KPIs and revenue targets.
* Solid understanding of the IT landscape—bonus if you have exposure to observability, cloud, or cyber security.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Confidence in outbound sales and in engaging senior stakeholders (C-level, Heads of Engineering, etc.).
* Highly self-driven, ambitious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-led environment.


Nice-to-Have

* Experience selling Cribl, Splunk, or other observability solutions.
* Background in selling managed services/MSP offerings.
* Exposure to UK mid-market and SME buyers.
* Experience within an IT consultancy or transformation-focused organisation.
