We are working with a leading global insurance provider that specialises in innovative risk management and insurance solutions for the real estate sector. Their London-based Real Estate Claims team is seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join their UK division.
The role:
As a Claims Handler, you will manage an allocated portfolio of real estate clients across the UK. You will provide expert claims services, support associates within the team, and help develop client relationships through consistent, high-quality service. You will manage complex claims to conclusion, negotiate with insurers, provide advice on policy cover, and contribute to business growth through client presentations and tenders.
Key responsibilities include:
* Understand client insurance programmes and service plans
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and loss adjusters
* Conduct periodic claim portfolio reviews and provide management information
* Manage sensitive or large claims effectively and professionally
* Ensure claims are registered and updated accurately on internal systems
* Participate in tenders and present the claims proposition to prospective clients
* Maintain knowledge of regulatory procedures and internal claims processes
About you:
* Strong technical property claims experience
* Excellent knowledge of Real Estate/Property insurance classes
* Ability to analyse and interpret claims data
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
* CII qualifications or working towards
* Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Analytical and problem-solving mindset
