Milton Keynes
Emsee Living
€21,000 a year
Posted: 18 May
Offer description

We are a family operated residential children’s home provider based in Milton Keynes with a mission to deliver outstanding care and the highest quality accommodation for children and young people through a holistic, non‑judgmental and trauma‑informed approach. Our work is grounded in trusting relationships that empower young people to influence decisions about their care and their future.

The Role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner who is passionate about contributing to our mission of creating the best possible outcomes for the most vulnerable children in society. This is only possible through the efforts of the incredible adults we employ — adults who deliver transformational change in children through the conscious use of relationships.

Your job is to find them. You will support the end to end recruitment of frontline care givers across our homes, ensuring every hire is values aligned and ready to make a difference from day one.

What you’ll do

* Manage end to end recruitment for residential childcare roles, from advert to offer
* Write engaging adverts and proactively source candidates through job boards, social media and direct outreach
* Screen, interview and assess candidates against our values and the demands of the role
* Work closely with the Director and Registered Managers to understand each home’s needs and culture
* Champion safer recruitment practices and ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations (specifically Schedule 2)
* Build a strong talent pipeline so we are never recruiting reactively
* Represent Emsee Living at careers events and be able to articulate our employee value proposition

What we’re looking for

* Proven recruitment experience – in house or agency – ideally within children’s social care, healthcare or education
* A genuine interest in the lives and outcomes of vulnerable children and young people
* Strong judgement and an eye for attitude and values, not just CVs
* Confident communicator who can build trust quickly with candidates and hiring managers
* Organised, self‑directed and comfortable managing multiple vacancies at pace
* Working knowledge of safer recruitment and Working Together to Safeguard Children’s Guidelines is essential

What we offer

* £21,000 per annum (16 hours per week)
* Hybrid working – a blend of home and our Milton Keynes base
* A genuinely meaningful role with visible impact on children’s lives
* A small, supportive team where your work is seen and valued
* Ongoing professional development and training
* Company pension

How to apply

Apply via LinkedIn with your CV and a short covering note telling us why this role and our mission resonate with you. We review applications on a rolling basis and encourage early applications.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; therefore, applicants are required to disclose all relevant spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings.

We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates. Any information disclosed will be considered fairly, proportionately and only where relevant to the role.
