Performance / Classic Vehicle Technician Llandow
Our client, the UK's leading and fastest-growing provider of supercar, movie car, and classic car driving experiences, is seeking a highly skilled Performance / Classic Vehicle Technician to join their team in Llandow. As the Performance / Classic Vehicle Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the rarest cars available in the UK, ensuring they are maintained and repaired to the highest standards.

Competitive starting salary between £30,000 and £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, with a bonus scheme and overtime opportunities
Overtime available, including evenings, paid at premium rates
28 days annual leave, with bank holidays considered working days unless booked off (excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day)

Contracted 12 weekend events per year (including one weekday and two weekend days), with expenses paid
Working hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with one-hour lunch break
Duties of the Performance / Classic Vehicle Technician
Carry out diagnosis, repairs, maintenance, and servicing on a diverse fleet of vehicles, from classic models like the Ford Gran Torino to modern supercars such as the McLaren 720s
Handle vehicles with care, ensuring safety and manufacturer specifications are maintained
Maintain workshop housekeeping standards, including the correct use and storage of tools
Liaise with suppliers and partners to source parts at reasonable prices and ensure timely delivery
Adhere to health and safety regulations and promote safe working practices
Support colleagues and line managers to meet deadlines effectively
Assist with loading and unloading vehicles during event periods, ensuring smooth operations
Participate in occasional race weekends and events, with paid overtime for additional hours worked
Candidate Specification
IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is essential
Several years of practical experience working as a Vehicle Technician on various vehicle types
Experience working on performance or classic vehicles is highly advantageous but not mandatory
Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Own a set of essential tools

Flexible approach to working hours around race weekends and events, with overtime paid accordingly
