Responsibilities
* Refraction, and fundus & media checks on a predominantly paediatric caseload.
* Collaborate closely with Orthoptists and Paediatric Ophthalmologists.
We welcome enthusiastic and highly motivated optometrists with an interest in paediatrics to apply for the opportunity to be part of the Orthoptic team within Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The post will commence as soon as possible. Now is an exciting time to join our team as the Ophthalmology Department is relocating in November 2025 to a brand new purpose-built clinic within the Alhambra Shopping Centre in Barnsley town centre as part of a Health on the High Street initiative.
