Experienced Field Service Engineer is now wanted to join a leading power solutions company with a strong reputation for quality and reliability. You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing diesel generators for both rental and customer-owned equipment, ensuring exceptional standards of safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned service and maintenance on diesel generators. Diagnose faults and complete breakdown repairs efficiently. Conduct site surveys as required. Participate in the company’s on-call rota. Maintain accurate service records and ensure work complies with safety and quality standards. Uphold company Health & Safety and ISO procedures across all work environments. About You Qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Diesel Fitting, or Plant (City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent). Alternatively, have completed an approved engineering apprenticeship. Proven experience in servicing and repairing generator sets (e.g., FG Wilson, Cummins). Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Previous field service experience advantageous.
