Position Summary
We are seeking a Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified Technician to join Brayleys Cars Limited's new Suzuki dealership in Thurrock. This fast-paced role reports to the Aftersales Manager. You will utilize your technical expertise across routine service and maintenance and tackling complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete scheduled vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines.
* Undertake diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues.
* Conduct electronic visual health checks (eHVC) on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers.
* Liaise directly with customers and service advisors, delivering outstanding customer service.
* Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed safely and to high quality, meeting internal and manufacturer requirements.
* Participate in ongoing training and development to keep product and service knowledge up to date.
Key Requirements
* Level 3 Technician certification (preferred; not mandatory).
* Full UK driving licence.
* At least 2 years of experience in this or a similar brand (optional).
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and strong attention to detail.
* Strong customer‑service focus with ability to communicate technical information to a non‑technical audience.
* Outstanding organisational and time‑management skills, capable of working to deadlines.
* Commitment to treating all visitors as valued guests.
* Commitment to never requiring weekend working.
