Job Overview
22.5 hours per week over 3 days (7.5 hours per day). District Nursing Team Manager to co‑lead a District Nursing Team in the Central East Team, Newport. The role requires a passionate, motivated leader who delivers expert clinical nursing practice and promotes high standards.
Responsibilities
The post holder will ensure the provision of cost‑effective, efficient, and appropriate high‑quality patient care. Key duties include:
* Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care needs and quality assurance.
* Line managing a nursing team, ensuring professional and clinical development of team members.
* Promoting evidence‑based practice and acting as an accountable role model.
* Ensuring compliance with the NMC Professional Code of Conduct and other relevant policies.
Qualifications
* NMC registered.
* SPQ qualification.
* Evidence of experience and proven success in managerial roles.
* Expert assessor demonstrating best practice.
Desirable
Ability to speak Welsh.
