The Role
The Marketing Insights team sits at the heart of LiveScore Group's growth strategy, helping the business acquire and retain valuable customers efficiently. As an Insight Manager, you'll partner with stakeholders across marketing, media, CRM and promotions to assess performance and uncover opportunities to drive growth. Your insights will directly inform how we invest, target, and convert new customers across our brands.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the analytical strategy for customer retention across Sportsbook and Casino, identifying key opportunities to increase engagement, loyalty, and long-term value across Virgin Bet South Africa.
* Partner closely with CRM, Promotions, Product, and Commercial teams to optimise lifecycle journeys, evaluate campaign performance, and strengthen overall user stickiness.
* Drive insight-led thinking across the business by challenging assumptions, influencing strategic decisions, and championing a data-driven culture.
* Leverage deep industry knowledge particularly within the UK and or South African online gambling ecosystem to contextualise performance, anticipate behavioural trends, and identify competitive opportunities.
* Guide the analytical framework for new market launches, ensuring customer behaviour, product performance, and promotional impact are understood from day one.
* Own product analytics initiatives, including tracking improvements, funnel analysis, in-product behaviour insights, and optimisation of key customer journeys.
* Translate complex data into clear narratives, delivering actionable recommendations that drive measurable change across retention performance.
* Manage the performance measurement of CRM campaigns, sports and casino promotions, and in-product experiences, proactively identifying shifts, risks, and growth drivers.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure tracking, data pipelines, and measurement frameworks meet evolving business needs.
* Develop and maintain ongoing performance reporting across key retention KPIs, ensuring insights are timely, relevant, and aligned with market-specific strategies.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* Strong analytical capabilities with proven experience turning customer, product, and behavioural data into actionable insights.
* Passion for developing talent, providing guidance, and building a strong analytical culture through coaching and support of junior analysts.
* Demonstrated experience working in the online gambling sector, with deep knowledge of the UK market and an understanding of regulatory and competitive dynamics.
* Proven track record driving retention or CRM performance within sports betting and/or online casino.
* Experience supporting or leading insights for new international market launches, including behavioural tracking, performance analysis, and product optimisation.
* Highly proficient with SQL or Google BigQuery, with the ability to independently interrogate large, complex datasets.
* Experience with Python for data manipulation, modelling, or automation is advantageous.
* Ability to challenge stakeholders constructively, influence decisions, and drive change through clear, persuasive insights.
* Confident communicator with experience presenting to senior stakeholders across Marketing, Product, and Commercial teams.
* Self-starter with a curious mindset and strong commercial acumen, able to balance quick wins with strategic thinking.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities, multiple workstreams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
* Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively across geographies and functions.
* Strong interest in elevating how we track, experiment, and understand customer behaviour to support smarter decision-making and product optimisation.
* Strong experience building and maintaining Tableau dashboards that enable clear KPI monitoring and support data-driven decision-making across teams.
