Stoke Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic dedicated hardworking Site Services Officer to start as soon as possible.What is the job role?Duties will include:- • Opening and Closing the school• Securing the buildings and grounds when not in use• Key Holder responsibilities• Carrying out maintenance and minor repairs within the school, including painting and decorating.• To comply with all Health & Safety aspects and follow procedures • Ensure premises are cleaned to a high standard and the grounds are neat and tidy.• Excellent communication skills with pupils, families, staff and contractors.Who are we looking for?The Ideal candidate will: • Be willing to complete a DBS (criminal records check)• Have a friendly approachable character.• Work on their own initiative and under pressure.• Able to prioritise especially with an ever changing school environment.• Have pride in their work.• Able to respect confidentiality• Have excellent time-management skills.• Willing to contribute to the continued improvement of our school.• Have experience and knowledge in conducting minor repairs.
