Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for previous experience in a network-focused IT service role. We require relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, JNCIA, or similar. We need strong experience configuring and supporting routers and switches. We need demonstrated experience managing Cisco and/or Fortinet technologies. We require experience with security products, especially Cisco ASA and Firepower. We need an understanding of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF. We require experience with monitoring tools such as LibreNMS, Fortinmanager, and Nagios. We need knowledge of network security, AAA, TACACS, RADIUS, and 802.1X. We need a good understanding of wireless systems such as Meraki, Ubiquiti, and Cisco. We require experience using ITSM tools for ticketing, time logging, and remote support. We need strong documentation skills, including network diagrams, troubleshooting guides, and work instructions. Responsibilities: We will maintain and support both internal and external network infrastructure and services. We will manage, operate, and support network systems and equipment. We will respond to incidents, service requests, and system-generated events. We will ensure stability, performance, and an excellent customer experience. We will participate in our Out of Hours rota approximately one week in every four.
