Role Overview
The Bench Joiner will manufacture bespoke joinery items from conception to completion within the commercial and fit‑out sector.
What You’ll Do
* Operate workshop bench and machinery to service fit‑out projects, carrying out general joinery duties such as cabinet assembly and bespoke furniture manufacture.
* Proactively manage work and maintain client focus in the delivery of projects.
* Represent the company in a competent and professional manner.
* Comply with company Health & Safety policy, rules and Quality Assurance procedures.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping, material handling and safety at all times.
* Carry out other ad‑hoc duties as requested by the supervisor.
What You’ll Bring
As a Bench Joiner, your main skills and experience should include:
Essential Criteria
* Minimum of three years experience working as part of a joinery team to complete projects.
* Relevant experience developing bespoke joinery projects.
* Attention to detail.
* Excellent knowledge of safe and effective working practices.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work independently with a flexible, problem‑solving approach.
* Read and understand working drawings.
Desirable Criteria
* Valid CSR card (Employer Initiated).
* Valid, clean driving licence.
* Self‑motivated with a proven track record of achieving targets.
