Job Title: Fire / Smoke Damper Remedial Engineer

We are seeking a hardworking, highly skilled Fire / Smoke Damper Remedial Technician. Your role will involve inspecting and testing smoke and fire dampers and performing remedial duties as required. Applicants must demonstrate strong technical knowledge and be flexible to travel in line with company requirements.

Experience / Qualifications:
* Strong experience as a Fire / Smoke Damper Remedial Engineer
* Holder of the Fire Damper Testing ticket
* Excellent technical knowledge, including BS9999 guidelines
* Willingness to travel when required
* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
* Hardworking attitude
The Role:
* Attending client sites to inspect, test and carry out remedial duties on Fire / Smoke Dampers
* Cleaning existing systems and ensuring they are in good working order
* Installing access doors
* Performing remedial duties such as installing TEK screws, changing links and collars
* Making recommendations for remedial work
* Keeping an accurate log of works undertaken and collating detailed technical reports
* Meeting with clients to provide project updates
* Working in line with HSE guidelines
* Maintaining excellent levels of service
