Purpose of the role
To ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all site machinery by leading the maintenance function, improving engineering performance, and supporting continuous operational improvement.
The day to day
1. To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements
2. Lead, manage, and support the Engineering and Maintenance team, including Engineers and Apprentices.
3. Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance to ensure machinery reliability and maximise production uptime.
4. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with manufacturing specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
5. Provide mechanical and electrical expertise across a wide range of textile equipment.
