As Practice Development Manager, you will:
1. Provide senior leadership alongside the Practice Development Lead
2. Line manage the Practice Development Team – including Educators, Associate Educators, and Assistant Educators
3. Drive delivery of high-quality, evidence-based learning across all clinical areas
4. Deputise for the Practice Development Lead when required
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery, oversight and planning of the Trust’s practice development provision. The post will develop and promote a holistic education training offer which allows flexibility in delivery and access for staff. The role will take operational responsibility fort he delivery and quality assurance of the practice development portfolio, ensuring it reflects Trust priorities and national standards. This role will involve close communication with the Practice Development Team and key internal stakeholders to ensure that the teaching offer remains aligned to organisational needs and wider system drivers. Additionally this role will develop to lead the Ward Readiness Programme for the newly qualified practitioners, ensuring it supports clinical priorities and meets the needs of our workforce.
