The role
You’ll manage your own varied and high-quality private client caseload, including:
* Wills and estate planning
* Probate and estate administration
* Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Inheritance Tax planning
* Trust creation and administration
Alongside your own files, you will also:
* Support and help supervise junior members of the team
* Provide technical guidance where needed
* Work closely with the Head of Team to maintain high standards across the department
* Play an active part in a collaborative and supportive team environment
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with solid Private Client experience (around 5+ PQE preferred, though we will be flexible for the right person)
* Has strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, IHT and trusts
* Is confident supporting and developing junior colleagues
* Is organised, approachable and commercially aware
* Enjoys building trusted long-term relationships with clients and professional contacts
* Brings a positive, team-focused attitude to their work
STEP qualification would be an advantage, but is not essential.
