Job Description
TheTeamcenter MigrationProfessional will work collaboratively with Customers and with the Quest GlobalPLMteam to prepare data mappings, carry outdata profiling, support data preparation and cleansing, configuremigrationscripts, supportmigrationtesting and optimisation, assist with go-live planning, execute production migrations, and provide post-migrationsupport.
You will have five years ofTeamcenterdeployment andmigrationexperience. You will be willing to travel to UK customers, be self-motivated, and have good verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-endTeamcenter migrationprojectsincluding planning, analysis, design,execution, and validation.
* Analyse legacyPLM/ERP/CAD data sourcesto help definemigrationscope, strategy, and approach.
* Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to capturedata mappingrequirements (including transformation rules).
* Develop, configure, execute, and optimiseExtract-Transform-Load scripts.
* Supportmigrationplanningactivities.
* Familiarity withInformaticaorPentahowould be advantageous.
* Executemigrations, carry out validation checks, and prepare status reports.
* Communicatedata cleansing recommendationsto stakeholders.
* Supportgo-live cutoverand provide hyper care for post-migrationstabilization.
Work Experience
Mandatory experience
* Should have a played atechnicallead role or higher in major migrations that involve both metadata, CAD data, and documents. Preference would be given for experience in migratingSolid Edgedata.
* Candidate should be familiar with PLMXML and IPS Data Upload utilities.
* Ability to code against ITK libraries to create custommigrationtools would be advantageous.
