Right now, we’re looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to play a pivotal role in strengthening our governance and helping us manage risk proactively and pragmatically. Principle Accountabilities
1. Deliver high-quality audit work, including planning, scoping, and developing testing programmes in line with professional standards.
2. Lead and coordinate audits, providing guidance and coaching to team members while ensuring effective collaboration across the audit team.
3. Identify root causes of issues and propose practical, value-adding recommendations to strengthen risk management and controls.
4. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, challenging the business where necessary to ensure risks are appropriately managed.
5. Support departmental initiatives, including contributing to audit planning, continuous improvement projects, and team development activities.
6. Assist Audit Managers and Senior Audit Managers with operational priorities, such as maintaining audit modules and delivering the annual audit plan.
Skills and Experience Required
7. Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience, ideally with a recognised qualification ACA, ACCA, CIA) or currently studying towards one.
8. Minimum of two years’ experience in audit, governance, or finance, with strong commercial awareness.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to build effective relationships at all levels across a global business.
10. Self-motivated, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
11. Willingness to travel internationally for up to 30% of the time, typically for periods of two to three weeks.
12. Additional desirable skills include experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI, auditing projects/programmes, and previous FMCG sector experience.
