JOB DESCRIPTION
SEI is seeking to hire an individual with External Custody (CASS8/Multiple 3rd Party Custody partners) and Free of Payment experience. You will be integral in day to day activities assigned to team members. You will monitor trade flows and ensure timely execution of client trades as well as provide fast and complete resolution to any trade related issues. You will be involved in oversight of free of payment transfers processes including reconciliation and instruction if required. You will bring your relevant experience and knowledge to add value to the team and ensure accurate administration and processing with your keen eye for detail.
The team will have oversight of all queries related to External custody and Asset Transfers and will liaise internally as required.
What you will do:
Key responsibilities for the role include that you :
1. Ensure accurate client administration processing and provide value added servicing including the escalation of client related issues
2. Ensure trading deadlines are met to aid timely processing
3. Process and or approve asset transfer instructions including REMAT & DEMAT
4. Review and clear stock/cash in balances in a timely manner
5. Respond to all client queries in a clear and efficient manner
6. Manage own workflow queues to complete all items by internal and external cut off times.
7. Process ongoing account maintenance using internal proprietary systems to process monetary and nonmonetary transactions on client accounts to deadline and SLA’s.
8. Ensure accurate client administration processing and provide value added servicing including the escalation of client related issues
9. Support the teams MI production
10. May be required to participate in client facing meetings and presentations
11. To ensure a high standard of service is provided at all times in order to maximise the client experience.
12. To participate in PSI/Agile releases with respect to client targeted/impacting developments.
Risk and Controls:
13. Review existing processes help identify trends and contributing factors and recommend solutions
14. Escalate any issues to Senior Management immediately
15. Ensure procedures are up to date, complete and accurate
16. Develop basic understanding of UK Operations and in-depth understanding of the department’s with upstream/downstream impacts.
Internal / external clients:
17. Liaise with operating and business units as required to resolve processing problems as they arise
18. Cultivate and maintain close external clients’ relationships
19. Build and maintain relationships with agents, brokers and custodians to ensure SLA/KPI are being consistently met
What we need from you:
20. Ideally working towards IOC (or equivalent)
21. Some experience within financial services, private banking, mutual funds and investment advisory is preferred as is industry knowledge of private banking, asset management and investment processing.
22. Strong understanding of transactional processes within wealth management coupled with the ability to identify workflow inefficiencies and deliver solutions to correct them.
23. Experience in multi-currency asset dealing of Funds, ETF’s, Equities and FX.
24. Knowledge of SWIFT/FIX format messaging preferred
25. Relevant industry experience
