SENIOR – PRINCIPAL TRANSPORT PLANNER

Our client occupies an envious position within the highways, traffic and transport planning arena providing advice and design services across the residential, commercial, leisure and energy sectors. As they continue to grow their business they are seeking to appoint an experienced Planner/Engineer to support their workload, delivering transport solutions for a wide and diverse range of projects across the country.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a wide range of transport projects across the Midlands and South East.
* Produce quality technical assessments, designs and reports that meet the highest standards.
* Coordinate project delivery, ensuring timely and budget‑compliant completion.
* Liaise with client teams and local authority officers to reach agreement on development proposals.
* Prepare and present at hearings and inquiries when required.
Qualifications
* Approximately eight years of experience in civil engineering or transport planning.
* Strong highways knowledge, with experience in UK standards, policy and legislation.
* Proficiency current industry software and report writing skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
