FP&A Analyst (Advanced) – Bristol | Shape Strategy with Insight

We’re looking for a high-calibre FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team in Bristol. This is a key business partnering role, driving financial planning, performance insight, and strategic decision-making across a complex, project-driven environment.

What you’ll be doing:

* Leading budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning
* Building financial models, scenarios, and sensitivity analysis
* Delivering clear, insightful reporting on P&L, cash flow, and KPIs
* Driving variance analysis and identifying key performance drivers
* Partnering with operational and commercial teams to influence decisions
* Translating complex data into actionable business insight
* Monitoring performance, costs, margins, and profitability
* Supporting financial close with high-quality analysis
* Improving financial processes, systems, and reporting frameworks

Qualifications

* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
* 3–5 years’ experience in FP&A, Controlling, Reporting, or Audit
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
* SAP experience preferred, plus exposure to BI tools (Power BI, EPM, BW)
* Strong analytical mindset with a commercial focus
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
