Client Manager / Accounts ManagerLocation: St Ives, Cambridgeshire (Hybrid after initial training period)Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE)A well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Client Manager / Accounts Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a practice professional looking to take ownership of a varied client portfolio while contributing to the ongoing development of the firm.You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting and tax services, and building strong, lasting client relationships. This is a hands-on role with a mix of technical delivery and advisory work.Key Responsibilities include:Preparation and review of statutory accounts for SMEs, including Limited Companies, LLPs, Partnerships, and Sole TradersCorporation Tax computations and returnsSelf-Assessment tax returns for directors and business ownersProviding proactive advice on tax efficiency, systems, and complianceActing as a main point of contact for clients, handling queries professionallySupporting business development by identifying opportunities within the client baseLiaising with HMRC and other regulatory bodiesAssisting with ad hoc work such as management accounts, budgeting, and cashflow forecastingEnsuring compliance with professional standards and maintaining high-quality workpapersAdhoc duties to support the teamAbout YouACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or part-qualified with strong practical experienceSolid background within an accountancy practice environmentStrong technical knowledge of UK accounting and taxExcellent communication skills with a client-focused approachOrganised, proactive, and commercially awareExperience with cloud software (e.g., Xero) is beneficial; knowledge of CCH is advantageousMust live within a commutable distance of St Ives, CambridgeshireWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary based on experience21 days holiday plus bank holidaysHybrid working for flexibilityPrivate healthcare (subsidised)Pension schemeMental health and wellbeing supportRegular team social eventsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive firm that values professional development, client service, and a positive working culture.For further information, or for an informal chat, please contact Kul Mahal on 07885 688293INDFINTPBN1_UKTJ
