Job Description
As a Control Room Operative you will be responsible for smoothly coordinating and monitoring the warehouse operational processes so as to ensure the loads are picked and dispatched on time.
Salary: £37,560.42 per annum
Working hours: 4 on 4 off rotating, 07.00-19.00/19.00-07.00
Key Duties of a Control Room Operative:
1. Competently using WMS, including graphics.
2. Ability to make sufficient changes, quickly and accurately, via WMS, as and when requested by other areas within Culina.
3. Organising allocation of trailers to bays for loads to be completed in time for expected departure.
4. Be able to help Warehouse Operatives with any RDT issues.
5. Effectively using data to control the system, rectifying faults and direct areas to the correct area of the system.
6. Ability to effectively escalate issues / problems to any of the following: Technicians, Team Leaders, Shift Managers, IT Department and DAI.
7. Competently communicate using different methods i.e. phone or radio in order to instruct other staff of those tasks which need to be completed.
8. Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety rules within the working environment.
9. Generate performance in line with KPI’s as required.
10. Undertaking further warehouse operative duties of picking, marshalling, cleaning, goods-in and pallet checking, as requested by Supervisor/Manager.
Qualifications
11. Previous experience within a Warehouse operational role.
12. Ability to work under pressure within a fast pace environment.
13. Ability to effectively prioritise workloads in order to meet set deadlines.
14. Competent in verbal and numerical reasoning.
15. Attention to detail and accuracy.
16. Good IT skills including MS packages.
