About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Programme Operations and Recruitment & Outreach Coordinator to join our team. This is a varied role where you’ll manage apprenticeship recruitment, coordinate STEM engagement activities, and ensure the smooth operational delivery of training programmes. You’ll play a key part in supporting learners, engaging with employers, and promoting our apprenticeship offering.
What You’ll Do
* Manage the pipeline of apprentice applicants and provide employability advice and guidance.
* Lead open evenings and attraction events at the training centre.
* Coordinate STEM and outreach activities with schools and education partners.
* Work closely with marketing colleagues to promote apprenticeship programmes.
* Support employer partners with apprentice recruitment.
* Oversee operational coordination of training programmes, including inductions and learner reviews.
* Maintain learner administration and data in line with compliance requirements.
* Provide pastoral care, safeguarding, and mentoring for learners.
* Liaise with external organisations and employer partners to ensure a seamless learner experience.
What We’re Looking For
* GCSEs (Maths & English grade 4/C or above) and Level 2 Functional Skills.
* Qualification in employability and/or Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance.
* Understanding of the engineering sector and apprenticeship standards.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with learner management systems is desirable.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under pressure.
* Full commitment to safeguarding and learner wellbeing.
Desirable
Experience in apprentice recruitment, STEM engagement, and event organisation.
