We are currently recruiting a Junior Accountant / Trainee for our Belfast office.
Within a team, you will have the following responsibilities:
* Assisting with a portfolio of clients, supporting the production of monthly, quarterly, and yearly deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships.
* Regular communication with clients to ensure deliverables are accurate and timely including responses to client queries.
* Preparation of monthly/quarterly client management accounts.
* Preparation of required tax returns for filing with HMRC including, VAT, corporation tax, partnership tax, P11ds and PSAs.
* Preparation of FCA returns utilising data from the client’s management accounts on a half yearly/quarterly basis.
* Preparation of annual financial statements.
* Liaison with client and their auditors to ensure timely filing of their audited financial statements.
* Coordination with colleagues to ensure efficient and timely delivery of client deliverables.
* Any ad-hoc items required by the team.
* Willing to start a qualification, such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of Excel.
* Strong sense of ownership and detailed orientated.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid work permit for the UK.
