We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic playworkers to join our holiday club teams at schools in Southwark (SE1) and Peckham (SE15). This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fun and dynamic environment where you'll help create engaging and safe spaces for children aged 4–11 to play, learn and grow.
About Us
Camp Glide provides high-quality wraparound care for primary school aged children. Our focus is on creating a positive, supportive, and safe space where children can thrive.
Duties
* Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Lead and support games, creative activities, and free play.
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and caring atmosphere.
* Support with club setup/pack-down.
* Build positive relationships with children, families, and school staff.
* Encourage positive interactions among children.
* Maintain a clean and organised play area.
What we are looking for
* Previous experience working with children in a play or educational setting is preferred but not essential.
* A genuine interest in child development and the ability to create an inclusive environment for all children.
* Ability to work as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
* A relevant qualification in childcare, teaching or playwork would be advantageous but not mandatory.
* Willingness to undergo training.
Hours:
* Shifts during the school holidays approx 8am-6pm, flexible days of the week.
* Opportunity for overtime during the term time at our breakfast and afterschool club settings
