Salary: £12.90 – £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Blackpool to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team from January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in behaviour management or a strong interest in supporting pupils with additional needs.
The Role:
You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils who require additional help with behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning. Your role will involve:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support
* Implementing behaviour strategies and personalised support plans
* Building positive relationships with pupils to encourage progress and participation
* Supporting the wider classroom environment to promote a calm and inclusive atmosphere
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with children with behavioural or emotional needs (in a school or similar setting)
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for helping children thrive
* Team Teach or similar training is desirable but not essential
