We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our CAMHS team. This post is located with our Care Experienced Young Peoples part of our service, and the successful applicant will have suitable experience working with young people who have experienced developmental trauma. The post holder will along with other colleagues take a lead role in the services ongoing service developments. They will also support with delegated tasks in wider CAMHS.
We support children and young people aged from 0 to 18 years and their carers/families and offer a range of highly specialist psychological assessments and interventions, which often includes multi-agency work with our partners.
Here in Argyll and Bute we are looking for high calibre clinicians, who place emphasis on a good work life balance, who can be creative and responsive and who work well in small teams.

Candidates must have a Post Graduate Doctoral level (or equivalent) degree in Clinical/Counselling Psychology, be registered with the HCPC and have experience of working with children and young people with complex problems. Experience or training in relation to eating disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders or trauma would be an advantage.
