Role: KS1 Class Teacher / Full time / Fixed Term / September Start We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering an engaging and comprehensive curriculum, inspiring young minds, and supporting each student's growth and development. About You: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching KS1. Passionate about education and committed to student success. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Creative, innovative, and adaptable to different learning styles. Dedicated to creating an inclusive and nurturing classroom. The teacher will · Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document · Meet the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards · Take responsibility for teaching a class in order to promote effective teaching and learning for the pupils within the framework provided by the DfE, the Local Authority and the Governing Body, and with regard to all statutory requirements. · Establish a purposeful learning environment in which diversity is valued, where pupils feel secure and confident, and where opportunities to maximise teaching and learning are promoted Duties and responsibilities Teaching · Plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the school’s plans, curriculum and schemes of work · Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment · Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils including those with SEND · Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils · Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils · Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge · Participate in arrangements for preparing pupils for external tests If you are excited about the opportunity to inspire and shape young lives, we would love to hear from you!
