*Overview*We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Safe Registered and Remedial Plumbing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a response environment. Have good communication skills and the ability to work independently. The applicant must be registered with Gas Safety. Additional qualifications e.g. LPG unvented cylinder trained and warm air qualified would attract an enhanced salary. The position offered is either on a full time employed basis (probation period would apply) with overtime paid holidays and company van with fuel card or on a sub-contract contract (appropriate public liability and CIS registration required). Please note that although our business is based in Farnham we cover Hampshire Surrey and Berkshire and the work diary will encompass these areas.*Duties** Manage own daily diary comprising mix of appointments - usual working hours 8am-4pm* Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions.* Collaborate with other engineers and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installations and repairs.* Perform heavy lifting as necessary when handling materials and equipment.* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks.* Adhere to health and safety regulations while on-site.*Skills** Proficient in plumbing techniques with a solid understanding of mechanical knowledge.* Strong basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
